Logicenters has announced that it will be building a logistics facility for the transport company MTAB. The property will be 11,150 m2 in area and is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Following last week’s announcement that Logicenters is acquiring land in Nykvarn from Veidekke, its investment in the area is continuing. The logistics property company has signed an agreement with transport company MTAB tour logistics for the development of a logistics facility in Almna\u0308s just outside So\u0308derta\u0308lje. The property will have an area of 11,150 m2 and be a logistics warehouse for MTAB’s customers in theatre and performing arts, tv\/broadcast and events.<\/p>\n

\u201dWe are happy to secure a longterm partnership with Logicenters to secure our growth in combination with the property living up to our high standards for sustainability<\/em>\u201d, says Stefan Fors, founder of the MTAB Group. \u201dToday we are the largest logistics company in our particular niche and we are continuing to grow. Stockholm Syd is therefore a strategically located position for us, from where we can provide daily service to the capital region, and effectively reach to mid and south Sweden as well as Europe<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n

In line with Logicenters\u2019 high sustainability goals, the new property in Almna\u0308s will have the environmental certification BREEAM Excellent and Noll CO2. Solar cells will also be installed on the roof of the property.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a high growth rate in Greater Stockholm and are delighted to be able to increase our presence in Almna\u0308s as the area around So\u0308derta\u0308lje is a perfect logistics hub with optimal infrastructure links. Our ambitions in the region are therefore high and we are certain that MTAB’s customers will have great opportunities to grow and operate efficient logistics in the building. It is also gratifying that MTAB shares our ambitious sustainability agenda for this building, which will be specially adapted to the customer’s needs,” <\/em>says Victoria O\u0308dmark, Commercial Manager at Logicenters.<\/p>\n

The municipality of So\u0308derta\u0308lje is also positive about the newly signed agreement, which will provide jobs for the town’s residents.<\/p>\n
