The new property will be built near Tampere-Pirkkala Airport \u2013 enabling a more efficient logistics flow for the company.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Logistics property developer Logicenters is expanding further in Finland by developing 21,800 m<sup>2<\/sup> next to Tampere\u2013Pirkkala Airport. Logicenters will establish a logistics terminal of 5,100 m<sup>2<\/sup> for Dachser Finland on the site. The property will function as Dachser\u2019s second logistics center in Finland and as international traffic hub while providing the capability for the company to offer an even more comprehensive service model to a wider customer base in the Pirkanmaa region and rest of Finland.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201dIt\u2019s with great pleasure that we follow Dachser Finland&#8217;s growth. We have been working together for several years, and enabling another property for the company is exactly how we wish to operate. It is a perfect area to operate from as a logistics company, and the terminal will be built to create an efficient logistics flow\u201d, <\/em>says Jarkko \u00c4ik\u00e4\u00e4, Commercial Director at Logicenters.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dachser Finland provides modern, efficient, and IT-driven logistics services. Already in 2019, Dachser and Logicenters signed their first agreement regarding a property in Kerava, and the new agreement is part of Logicenters strategy to follow customers on their journey. The location near Tampere-Pirkkala Airport is optimal for Dachser&#8217;s logistics flow and will be a crucial part of making their operations more effective.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe are grateful that Logicenters wants to continue supporting us to create opportunities for efficient and modern international logistics. It is a partner we have great confidence in. For us as a family-owned company, this is an investment in the future. Not only does the new logistics center offer services and create job opportunities locally, but it also plays a great role in our long-term investment plan in Finland\u201d, <\/em>says Tuomas Leimio, Managing Director, Dachser Finland European Logistics.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The property will be developed with Breeam certificate, geothermal heat, and solar panels, all in line with Logicenters sustainability profile. The terminal is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025.
