A modern logistics facility featuring roof-top solar panels is to be constructed at the Kronan business park. The 24,000 m<\/strong><sup><strong>2<\/strong><\/sup><strong> property is scheduled to be completed in 2020 and Thomas Cook Travel Retail will be the first tenant to move in.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a market leader and developer of modern logistics facilities, Logicenters has a significant presence in logistics hubs in the Nordic region. The company is now establishing itself on the Sk\u00e5ne market via a new development on F\u00f6retagsv\u00e4gen in Kronan business park, an excellent logistics location in the \u00d6resund region. The facility will be located in a very visible site along the E6 highway; companies such as Santa Maria and Oatly have been present in the business park for several years now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cWe are delighted to have found the right location for us in Sk\u00e5ne. Landskrona is investing heavily in logistics and we are positively inclined towards more projects here in the future. It is gratifying that Thomas Cook has chosen to work with us and we look forward to a long-term cooperation. For those who are looking for a good logistics site in the \u00d6resund region, the other half of the property is still available,\u201d<\/em> says Matthias Kettelhoit, Commercial Head at Logicenters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the facility\u2019s modern specifications, solar panels will be installed on the roof, which is in line with Logicenters\u2019 strategy on sustainability and energy efficiency. \u00a0Construction begins immediately, and the facility is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2020. The tenant Thomas Cook Travel Retail will utilise 12,000 m<sup>2<\/sup> of the property&#8217;s total of 24,000 m<sup>2<\/sup>, divided into 10,000 m<sup>2<\/sup> of warehouse space, a 1,500 m<sup>2<\/sup> mezzanine and 500 m<sup>2<\/sup> of office space. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cOur new location at Kronan business park will enable us to increase capacity for our online shopping service Airshoppen, from which our travellerscan pre-order their duty-free goods.
